McCall's Super-Book of Quilting: 72 Best Designs to…
This was issued as a magazine, in response to the interest in quilts during the buildup to the U.S. Bicentennial. It contains patterns for a number of 19th century quilts (many from PA) and a few designs created for this publication. All of the patterns use templates, and the photo quality is poor compared to today's quilt books.
This title, published in magazine form, includes modified (dumbed down) patterns for several antique quilts, and a few "modern" (as of 1975) patterns. All patterns are based on the template method, and the accuracy of the templates may be questionable.
