GOODNESS!! Here I thought this novel was boring, but I could hardly put it down, AND I JUST LOVED CASS AND HER WICKED HUMOR, Where is a best friend when I needed one? Skye is still rocked at her dad's betrayal with another woman and left her and her mom. At school she was on the bus for a field trip when a nerdy boy sat next to her with his ow problems. They were paired up and told to finish the sheet handed out to them; then Mack opened up how mad he was that his mom died of cancer and that he was moving back to his dad's hometown. Fifteen years later, Skye took a chance on a dating site and got matched up with Ben, the same boy she hung out with on a field trip. I loved Skye's determination to not let her dad's betrayal from keeping her distrust of men hold her back any longer as she and Ben had clicked the moment they met. Ben Mackinnon has trust issues as Amber told him that she was pregnant just to rope him in. I can't wait to read book two!!… (altro)

Received an ARC for my voluntary review for Saints and Sinners. I enjoyed this book, and you feel a couple of different emotions. We meet Skye who finds herself lonely on the relationship scale, and decides to do something about it, only casual because she does not want a love relationship she does not believe in those for herself, others yes but not for her. Skye ends up meeting Ben and after holding him off for about a month, finally gives in and meets him personally and the chemistry they have is off the charts. They both have baggage but find that they are pretty comfortable with each other and give each other a real chance, if only it could stay that way. I did get upset with Ben, but I can not give you the reason behind it, or it will spoil it for you, however he corrected his stupidity fairly quickly. I also loved their friends, whom I hope we will hear stories about. Enjoy!!!… (altro)
