I suspect English may be a secondary language for the author. There was a lot of awkward phrasing and it wasn't an easy read. This is NOT a complete story. It's like the first few chapters of a book and ends almost immediately as the portal is used, just as it might become interesting instead of boring.

I won't be continuing. The story just isn't worth the effort.
