This should only be read as this families story. It is by no means a good representation of what juvenile diabetics go through. I don't know any other diabetic with this same type of story. An interesting read but not a "normal" diabetic story. This kid must be the luckiest kid on the planet, although I am sure if you revisit him in a few years he may have a totally different story, involving many more insulin injections.
