A nice extension of this good fantasy series. Taroniah continues her education about the history of magic in her world while helping her brother maintain his throne. Business is booming despite her magical and family distractions and she’s well on her way to be her world’s first tycoon.

Kyron takes over the Black Dryans and they're off and running on the mercenary trails. He brings a talented young magician to the group and things get interesting personally and professionally. He grows strategically as well as tactically competent as an extension of his leadership style. Another good entry in this lively and well-written series.
