Louis Rey

Louis Rey is a Scientific Advisor based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been a Regent's Lecturer and Visiting Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Dr. Rey received his M.A. (1952) and Ph.D. (1958) degrees from the Sorbonne, Paris, France. Joan C. May has been the Director of the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Rockville, Maryland. The author or coauthor of many articles and the coeditor of several books on freeze-drying processes, she is a member of the American Chemical Society and the North American Thermal Analysis Society. Dr. May received her B.S. degree (1965) from Nazareth College, Rochester, New York, her M.S. degree (1968) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her Ph.D. degree (1971) in analytical chemistry from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana.
