As a back of the pack trail runner, I found "Nowhere Near First" inspiring and informative. I learned what to do (and what not to do) when moving up in distance. I enjoyed learning about Cory as a person, he shared happy family times as well as sad events in his life. Finally, he has a great sense of humor which comes across on every page. One slight negative, there are a few sections that could have benefited from a proof editor. If you enjoy ultra running or want to learn more, I highly recommend "Nowhere Near First".… (altro)

I'm a DFL runner who is always at the very back of the pack! Cory has lowered the bar that's made most of us not want to race in public. He's pretty slow and funny and charming and silly and entertaining and motivational. Loved it. Didn't want it to end, either.
