How to be a Superhero is a book narrated by Superiorman as he instructs children on different things they should work on in order to become a superhero themself. Superiorman takes us through his home and gives examples of the super heroes and villians in his world and their different traits. The book ends with Superiorman being called for help by the town.

This book was very imaginative and I liked how it was an instructional book for a fictitious job.

One thing this book could be used in the classroom for is to have the children write their own back stories and decide what kind of powers they have a why. Another way this story could be used is to engage the children into thinking about ways they could be superheroes (great manners, cleaning up garbage) and then deciding on a service project the class can do.… (altro)
