At first this was a fun book despite it being dated. Some of the information does not matter due to timing, such as the different types of wines, the different colors, smells, etc. But, the last half of the book is all very dated material. They give a list of favorite wines, wineries, wine shops but these are outdated by now. The book mentions in several places that they mean to update the book every so often, but as far as I can tell, in 20 years there's been no updates. The section on medical benefits of wine however seems very advanced for 1994 even if I don't agree with their comments. Overall, the book is an entertaining educational piece about wine.… (altro)
