I love the 1982 Hymnal and at one point, I needed to get a copy quickly to have with me, so I got the Kindle version. It isn't as easy to navigate on the Kindle as I would like. What I really want is something like an eBook version of the Accompaniment Edition which indexing at least as good as what you can get from ritesong.

I used to hate the BCP, like I was pretending, but now I just think that the creeds and collects and such are just easier to remember than some of the more involved Psalms. (The Psalms are in there too, as they obviously should be.) And I think, now, that sometimes it’s better to let the right thing change you, rather than to, unnecessarily, change it.... It’s not bad.

Great to have the scripture bound with the prayer book. As I get older, the print does seem to be getting smaller. Still there are times when I find it invaluable to the two in one volume.½

Beautiful red cover with black woven binding. Not enough ribbons, otherwise, very good.

This is a beautiful book; my only complaint is that the publisher did not adopt the practice it does with the Book of Common Prayer, namely, that the most used portions are in the middle of the book. The Contemporary Office Book would be even better if the ordinary portions of the services were placed in between the scripture readings for year 1 and year 2.
