Talon P.S.

For my review of Right One 4 Diesel by Talon P.S. I feel the need to give a little reading history. I had Becoming His Slave the first book in the Dominion of Brothers series in my TBR pile for a while and when I finally picked it up and started reading I had to kick myself, multiple times. This is a fantastic story! I learned my lesson and quickly read the other books available from this series and when another came out I grabbed it up quick. Becoming His Slave set up the series perfectly.

Now we have been given Diesel’s story, Right One 4 Diesel. Which I think is setting up the next part of The Dominion of Brothers Series just as perfectly. We get to see our favorite characters again and get reacquainted. Talon has done a great job continuing the character development you are going to love how some of them have grown. We also have a few new characters that are going to teach the Brothers and us a few things. Seriously keep your eyes on those secondary characters and also keep some tissue handy because you’re going to need them as you get a better look at skill and artistry Talon and Princess use to weave their stories. We also get a closer look at Salientis Du Deliciarum Island Resort. Oh Paris you picked a delightful place to run to. But, if you are going to run from a man who has the title of Patronus, Master of Doms, you probably should have picked a different location. This makes me think you wanted to get caught.

Let me tell you this is one chase you really want to savor. Diesel and Paris, two strong men who know what they want and who they want it with. If only life was that easy. Diesel and Paris come from different worlds not only sexually but also the lives they’ve had and still have. They both work hard and play harder and if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. Life is good, but life also happens and the twists and turns Talon P.S. and Princess S.O. throw at these two will either seal their bond or tear them apart. It is here I need to quote Pyotr Laszkovi

“Sometimes we must make sacrifices for the ones we want to be with. They don’t always have to remain so, but just enough to show we are willing to do so – for them.”

Truer words have never been spoken. I also need to give kudos to Talon; he has done what few authors have. He has given us a one word sentence that will not only make your heart start pounding but will make your imagination soar. The placement, delivery and the fact that Katianna is the deliverer makes it even more perfect. I would tell you the word but then you would miss out on the moment.

Right One 4 Diesel is written so well that there really isn’t a place you can get to and say, yep this is a good place to stop for the night, I know I kept turning the pages well into the night or early morning hours. So make some time because once again the Twins have given us a good size book, 588 pages. I love the characters even when I am thinking WTH! because just like people they have their moments. LOL Like I said earlier I am enjoying learning so much more about these characters. It is just like with friends the longer you know them the more you are allowed in to their hearts and minds. I will let you know this story has a few great plots that give us drama, adventure and some smoking hot sex.

I am so looking forward to the next book in The Dominion of Brothers Series. Talon P.S. and Princess S.O. have delivered another epic story for this series. Some of the “Oh My God” moments in this story show us their sneaky mean author side. But it also shows their heart and dedication to giving their readers a story that will be enjoyed not only the first time they read it but when they pick it up again and again. Folk lore and fairy tales are not just for the young. Talon P.S. & Princess S.O. show us that in Bond of the Lycaon Concubine. They have taken the story of Little Red Riding Hood and added the adult twist of the Concubine to it. Taking this story to a place only they could.

Once again Talon and Princess have given us some kick ass characters for a story you will want to keep turning the pages to devour. I know I did. *grins* One of my favorite characters is one we never met, Raina’s Grandmother. So often the young ignore the stories told by their older relatives. They don’t know what they are missing. Some of those stories speak truths that are hard to believe but none the less are true. Raina is about to find this out and get answers to a few questions in the process.

I love Raina! She is hot as all get out and smart, quick as a whip too. She is kind of a vagabond. She doesn’t stay in one place very long. She is searching for something she lost but doesn’t really know what that something is. I had so much fun finding out what she was missing, not as much fun as Raina but I did toss a few coins in the fountain myself. *wink wink* Hey sometimes it works.

Raina tends bar at the Hound’s Tooth, Vashon’s bar. He is the Alpha of the Landrake pack but he isn’t our leading man. His favorite Beta Tristan is. Tristan is also Raina’s barback. The only man Raina lets near her but only so close. He knows what will happen if he gets too close. Just ask Rory LOL Raina knows how to keep the men she works with and around in line.

Tristan walks that line and crosses it when he knows he can get away with it. He also knows crossing that line could put his secret at risk as well. One night he does more than cross the line and now all hell could break loose. His secret as well as others is at risk of being found out. He has to make a choice that goes against not only the man he is but the Lycaon he is as well.

I also enjoyed the world of this story. The Landrake pack laws are unlike most of the other werewolf packs you may have read. Which makes this story a treat you will not want to miss. *high fives Talon and Princess* These laws also create a few twists that are as hot as they are dangerous. So much can be gained for the pack if everything goes right but it isn’t always about the pack, is it?… (altro)

The tag line “I’m about to make you wet.” Is so true *sighs* but, it should also include “I’m about to take you on one of the most emotional roller coaster rides of your life!”

Here are a few of the things that make this a story you are not going to want to put down. Amelia is not only beautiful she is also a 46 years old, intelligent, strong and powerful woman. Her power does not only come from her position in life but in the knowledge she has and accepts about herself as a woman, person and submissive. Even with all of this going for her, Amelia isn’t perfect. Talon and Princess have given us a leading lady who will become near and dear to our hearts.

This story is told from both points of view, Amelia’s and her mysterious Head Master. A man who when approached by the Dominus, Trenton Leos, about taking a contract for the weekend with a hard to control woman, he was ready to turn down the offer. That is until Trenton said “Amelia Quinneth can be quite the handful. Though, I assure you, she would be well worth the effort and the rewards.” With those words this Head Master decided he was up for the challenge. Because of the knowledge and experience Talon and Princess have with this lifestyle we are given some of the rawest emotions, both good and bad, that these characters experience. Be prepared to also feel each and every one of them.

There is also the bonus we are given with the inclusion of characters from the other stories from this series. Because this story is out of order we do have a little bit of extra knowledge of at least one of these characters. We also, if you have read Becoming His Slave, get to have a little more knowledge/information on the characters we already know and love. This doesn’t take anything from this story or the others in the series. It is a wonderful skill of the authors and special treat for the reader to keep tabs on our characters.

These stories can be read out of order but trust me you are going to want to read them all *wink* So if you are reading this out of order in the series here is a little intro for you.

This is the second book in the Dominion of Brothers series but it could be read as a stand alone. After reading it you will want to get the first book Becoming His Slave and learn more about these amazing men.

We met Cliff in Becoming His Slave, he was seeking to be one of the Doms. This is his story and it is beautiful, heart breaking and glorious all at the same time. Cliff has had a rough time. His parents left him at the age of 19 to take care of his little sister Kimmi. She was diagnosed with leukemia. This leaves him little time for himself. When he gets a little time for himself he goes to Club Pain a BDSM club. This is where he met Diesel the Patronus who became Kimmi's Guardian Angel and also Cliff's in a way. Diesel knows Cliff is having a hard time and sets up a meeting for him with a person who can help him with the psychological and emotional stress of his situation.

Enter Pyotr Laszkovi a friend of Diesels and a psychologist with the VA. When he agreed to help Cliff he had no idea that Cliff would also be the answer to his desires and dreams. Pyotr has also had to put his life on hold for the sake of keeping his family together. His parents sent him and his eleven brothers and sisters to America to be free of the war happening in their home land of Serbia.

The journey Author Talon p.s. pens for Cliff to find his place is one of discovery, joy, heart break and love. It was a pleasure to learn about Cliff as he learned about himself. The development of Cliff and the other characters of this story and series is a work of art. Although this book isn't the length of the first in the series the pace it takes is perfect. This is one journey you will enjoy taking more than once. When you sit down to read this book you will want to lock the door, take the phone off the hook, get a tall iced beverage and a box or two of tissue.… (altro)
