This is a very good starting point for dealing with death - not your own, but of someone you love - or with those who have just or recently lost a loved one.

The author explains how important it is to let the mourner decide what sort of goodbye s/he wants to have. He also goes into the death taboo and how this may influence how we behave near a dead person.

This book is specifically Austrian, and the official side of death reflects the Austrian legal situation, but most of the issues he deals with are universal.

I think it would be very helpful to have read this before losing someone close to you. If you know someone who has lost someone, this book could help you really make a difference. This goes double if your work or other activity means that you regularly deal with death.… (altro)
