Anecdotes and stories are excellent but the political science and frameworks are painfully dull. Best part is the Obama-Hilary election chapter.

Popkin examines the ways in which candidates seek the office of president of the United States. How does a candidate develop the chutzpah, build the connections with voters, and develop the whole range of skills necessary to seek and win the job and keep it? This book is political science for the many.
