Ok ,this particular h was almost TSTL. Good lord. I could not connect with her at ALL or see what the H saw in her. She was apparently incapable of predictive thought, or thinking beyond herself for most of the book. I guess one of the guys had to go for a bitchy woman with little brains but too bad it was this one. It just didn't feel like it was in the same league as the others in this series to me.

Based on what I have read, this is an exciting anthology.
SM West's new story, Scoring The Player, is about Matt, a successful QB and Claire, a surgeon-in-training. Both have reached a crossroads in their lives and a chance meeting leads them on to find both answers and each other. A well crafted easy read romance

Weak story that just serves as a background to a load of sex scenes.

Be still my heart. For me there is nothing sexier than a big strong man being brought to his knees by an adorable bundle of heart. Justus is at the wrong place at the right time to lose his heart. Tuesday is a force all her own and when you add that spirit to an attraction as electric as theirs, It's bound to set off sparks. Theirs is a work in progress, but a temptingly perfect fit.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a sweet, pretty short story between Case and Annabelle. The moment that they meet, they have an instant attraction. Even though the story is short as you are reading the days seem longer, which I enjoyed because they were getting to know each other and let me tell you that you will like this couple, they were really nice people. I also enjoyed that we didn't have all the crazy drama, no crazy exes popping up trying to ruin everything, and we have the family rooting for them..Anyway it is a good feel book.. Enjoy!

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: Attorney Geneva Lang has the right pedigree and attended the preferred Ivy League school. Hell, she even has the right last name to become a partner at the Lawrence and Larringer Law Firm. Nothing will stop her from climbing to the top. Well maybe one thing—the older partners would like to see her married. In a modern world, surely a woman doesn’t need a man behind her to be taken seriously?

Now her mother and friends are tossing men at her like confetti. She doesn’t want them shoved down her throat any more than she welcomes the men she works with hitting on her—whether they make six figure salaries or not. Just when she doesn’t think this month could get more annoying, she ends up in a traffic accident.

Liam Hart takes his job seriously. Almost so seriously that he almost didn’t look up from the mangled body of the Lexus and missed the gorgeous woman in a power suit standing in front of him. One look at the woman and he wants to peel off her hose and throw her legs over his shoulders. But first he needs to make her remember she’s a woman—with needs. Lucky for her he knows how.

Despite the fact that she’s falling for a hunk who is great with his hands—in bed and out—everyone believes she’s having a fling. Why is it so hard to believe a woman like her would fall for a blue-collar man? Their opposite lifestyles can’t possibly tear them apart, can they?

This is about a woman and 2 bi men. The men are best friends and previous lovers, and now one is married to the woman. Both men are in the logging business. It is like my fantasy come true. ;) I was super stoked to read this, but it was just overkill on how horny they were. She was soaking her panties with it running down her legs, and one of the men was about to bust out his pants a good bit of the time. Then this line
"Her pussy squeezed hard and released a fresh flood of cream"
was not working for me. I love M/M and couldn't wait to get to those scenes, and as I said, one woman with 2 bi men is a super fantasy, yum. Unfortunately, I was unable to get far enough to read any of that. I seem to be the only person that didn't love it, so this may be just a personal issue for me.

So this story is about a Pastor's Daughter and before you dismiss this book because you this it’s a Christian romance! Oh honey! This is SO far from the truth.

Ruthie is the daughter of a pastor, a daughter that the pastor wasn't to keep pure for her marriage. But Ruthie wants more than a courtship relationship with some nice young man, who is a dud in the bedroom. Let’s face facts peeps, Ruthie can't get any satisfaction! So Ruthie heads off to the Boot Knockers Ranch, where she can finally get what she needs.

Damon wins Ruthie and sets on showing this uptight school teacher that he is an A-grade student and can finally banish all the duds of her past. At least, for the time that she is at the ranch, but I don't think it’s just Ruthie that is getting schooled this time.

This book rocks! I mean seriously, it freaking rocks! I love it so much, it is going on my must buy list! There was not one part of this book I dislike. I am now a lifelong fan of the Boot Knocker Ranch Series and it is being added to my auto buy list.

The writing is smooth and delicious and the plot line is well thought out and I didn't find any holes in it. By the end of the book, you are literally panting for more.

I give Body Language a 10 out of 10 and I am dying for the next installment from the Boot Knockers Ranch.

This book went back and forth between decent and completely farfetched. At one point, when Ever (brilliant name, by the way, if a bit tricky during reading - especially for an editor/word person) is cornered with her enemy at the rival (and her former) MC, she is shown pictures of her with Jamison. The scene tries for a bit of drama by claiming "now they know about her involvement with the other MC." But...duh...the other MC blasted in with guns blazing to rescue her the first time she was at the old MC. Obviously they knew she was involved with the Hell's Sons. I understand it's a story - not real life - but trying to pull crap on your readers is insulting. No way would a rival MC just let her hang around - especially on her own. Further, she told the ex-husband she came back because she missed him. Then she proceeds to stay in his compound for weeks with no sex?!? Just a bit of kissing here and there? Really? When you claim these MCs have sex going on opening on the daily but this guy who was obsessed with her is just letting her stay there. So much more tension could've been created here.

And let's talk about her obsession to get info about her mother's murder. She repeatedly endangers the lives of practical strangers in this lame quest and insists on keeping it a secret for no real reason. She even continues on after someone she claimed was her friend is killed. Not a very likable heroine.

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: Physical therapy assistant Lilly’s job is to keep rodeo star Juss Rossie off his injured leg and from using his bad shoulder to rope more buckle bunnies. Trouble is she wants—just for once in her life—to be one of those rodeo gals who gets the cowboy. Pushing him to the limits of his therapy will take some creative maneuvering, and she finds he responds in the yummiest ways.

Juss hates like hell to be laid up with injuries and off the back of a bull. But being at the mercy of therapist Lilly is torture—especially when she gets in the pool, on the mat, or crawls into bed with him. Can he recover from her mind-blowing advances without losing his heart?

I would suggest having a ice-cold drink handy while reading this series. The stories keep getting hotter! This is a quick, very steamy read. I love this firehouse and hope for more stories about the men of the East Street Fire Company. I would suggest reading these stories in order due to the crossover arson investigation. Since both are short, it's very doable. Highly recommend.

Sarah has been a part of the Hell's Sons MC for years, they take care of her, and her job is to take care of the club and make runs for their beer. She wishes she had something more important to do for the club and O'Dovey would keep his hands to himself. Just lately his possessiveness is getting out of hand and he's beginning to scare her. How can she aid her club and safely keep him at bay.
Dr Connall West works hard at his profession, he's a bl**dy good Dr. and surgeon, but he needs an outlet and he'd been invited to joined the Hell's Sons MC where a beautiful woman named 'Sweetheart' Sarah works, and he's had his eye on her for ages. When he arrives and finds her in trouble, he has no choice but to too help her out.
I loved this book. It had a great story, the the plot line kept me intrigue right until the end. I highly recommend it! 5/5

This was my first time reading a book in the Club Ties series. It works very well as a stand alone and I didn't feel as if I was missing something by not reading the first three. Steamy and fast paced, this is a well written story with a few surprises and some suspense. I loved the biker-doctor hero. It was a fresh twist to the MC storyline. An enjoyable read.

Tabbart has a cooking show on tv and she’s so busy she never has time to meet a decent men. Until she gets a look at her assistant’s sexy brother. Against her better judgement, she asks about him and finds herself booking a week with him…at a stud ranch where he’s the sex therapist! Can she pull this off without the whole world finding out? When Stowe finds out he can hardly wait to see her and he knows he’ll protect her at all costs. She will, however, have to give up control to Stowe as he gives her the pleasure she deserves.

Yehaw, this is one hot, BDSM read! Not for the lighthearted or squeamish, Rope Burn will keep you on the edge of your seat with your own inner flame burning bright. It’s as hot as they come and I’m betting you won’t be able to put it down. Ms. Petrova seems very knowledgeable and writes with quite a “steam” factor. I love her heroes and Stowe is at the top of the list. You can’t get away from the erotic romance in Rope Burn and believe me, you won’t want to. I loved this book and I’m highly anticipating reading more from Ms. Petrova! 5 Stars!

Hot sex! Makes you even understand a polyamorous relationship even if you don't agree. Pushes the boundaries on what you might enjoy. Good story line too.

DESCRIPTION: It’s all in her head. Until she falls into the hands—and hearts—of two cowboys.

Sexual dysfunction. The words make Sybill cringe, but after one too many failed relationships, she has to face reality. Her O-button is broken, big time. Sick of sitting on the sexual sidelines, she books a week at Boot Knockers Ranch. If a passel of rugged cowboys vying to bring her bliss can’t get her off, nothing will.

Hugh had planned to sit out this week’s rotation of sexual therapy, but when he spots sultry Sybill, he pulls rank. His bone-deep urge to possess her isn’t enough to coax elusive orgasms out of her body, though. And his resolve to give the lady whatever she needs wavers when she shyly makes a mind-blowing request.

Riggs stepped aside when Hugh muscled in to claim Sybill, but he jumps at the chance to fulfill her ultimate fantasy—a threesome. But once they come together, all barriers are stripped away, exposing his love for the one man—and woman—he’d break every last rule to make his own.

Warning: This ain’t your daddy’s ranch. Contains cowboys administering sexual therapy to frustrated ladies—and each other. Fresh batteries recommended. You’re gonna need ’em!

Chapel is a strong and confident woman when it comes to pretty much everything in her life except for her father. She was raised by a single father from an early age when her mother died. Chapel longs for her dad’s approval and any show of affection he’ll give. She is in love with a logger her father doesn’t like and all and who isn’t afraid to let her know he loves, appreciates and approves of her. Chapel may have taken on more that she or the company could handle when she signs a big logging contract. Her father’s disapproval and hostility spur her into finally moving out of his house and right into the arms of her men.

Abe is all man and heart. I love the fact that he isn’t afraid to show his love and affection for Chapel. He’s the first to invite Levi into their relationship because he sees the way she looks at him and vice versa. It wasn’t an easy decision for Abe; he had to come to terms with the fact that it didn’t bother him to think of Chapel with Levi, who he loves like a brother. It came to the fact that he loves them both and the logging industry is far from safe. He and Levi love

Chapel and together if something happened to one of them the other could still love and care for her.
Levi comes into town after a stint in prison. He’s shocked at Abe’s offer of a place to stay, not being to use to anything nice from others. A friendship and bond form between the men and Levi falls for Chapel pretty much from the beginning. He’s amazed and willing when Abe suggests they share/love Chapel together. Levi struggles with telling his lovers about his past, fearful they will reject him if they know the truth. Of course Chapel’s dad buts into it and causes conflict between the three.

This is a wonderful story of love and growing trust. It also shows the importance of honesty and openness in relationships of all kinds. The refreshing thing is there isn’t an overwhelming amount of angst. None really between the lovers, it comes from situations they find themselves in. The steamy scenes were very hot and really well done. They didn’t come across at all cheesy, which is sometimes easy to do with ménages. The sex wasn’t repetitive and it was imaginative and sweet.

The way Abe and Levi work together and stand up for each other and Chapel is terrific. The ending, as well as the whole story, was well done and believable even if it ended too soon ;)

If you’re looking for a story that is very warm and a heartfelt romance with a bit of action then I would definitely recommend this one. I didn’t want to put it down the few times I had to when real life intruded.

The third book in the erotic Firehouse 5 series is a sizzling menage romance. I found the story greatly entertaining and was pleasantly surprised by a certain aspect of the romance dynamic it is certainly the first time I have read a book where it starts off that way. I will refrain from telling anyone what it is though I wouldn’t want to spoil anything. I was captivated by the wonderful characters and I am looking forward to reading more tales from the Firehouse 5.

Oy, another book that rubbed me the wrong way. Brant Foxfire is an orthodontist and closet dom. He wants to dominate a woman in the bedroom but is basically ashamed of his desires, largely due to a bad experience several years prior. He is so in war with his dominant desires that he bottled them up, also because he's afraid of being socially ostracised if his inclinations became known.

Ermm, I can't help myself but I don't find this particularly sexy. The point of reading a BDSM novel is to have a hero who feels secure in his sexuality. However is he to help a submissive find the strength to discover her desires when he can't face up to them himself?
Brant is more or less a bulldozer during the story, manipulating the heroine in having sex with him, going out with him, etc... He has possessive obsessive tendencies, but fortunately he stays on this side of normal, and there were even a few moments in the story when his attitude was kind of sexy. Oh, and for all his guilt concerning his kinky fantasies, they turn out to be rather tame. A bit of spanking and paddling and a pair of hijacked panties to cuff the heroine.

The heroine was another matter. She's a single mom of a fifteen year old boy and still hung up over her ex-husband who all but destroyed her trust and doesn't pay child support money. I take it that her ex-husband is a mean bastard and certainly didn't do right, but I couldn't help myself starting to roll my eyes when, for the umpteenth time, she started whining about this scumbag. She doesn't appear very mature at times. A C-.

This review is also posted on my blog.

Who can resist a story with firefighters in it? I know I can't stay away, especially not with a cover like that. I barely contained my excitement when I won this novella. Since then I've read it twice, just to be sure about my review. While it was definitely very enjoyable from the lust aspect, I thought it fell a little in the romance department. Luke 'Lucifer' Puckett saves a woman and her daughter from a burning building, only to realize the woman is his college ex, Josie. Ten years ago there were a hot item, and Josie was certain they were going to get married one day. Then shortly before graduation broke up with her. Apparently ten years hasn't done anything to cool their attraction to one another. Their passion for one another rekindles quickly and blazes a trail to the bedroom where they share a night neither of them will forget. But Luke can't forget the reason why he dumped her all those years ago. If he didn't trust her then, how can he trust her now?

Since Josie never got over Luke, I wasn't surprised that she threw caution to the wind and gave herself over to Luke at the drop of a hat. She wanted him, even if it was for one night only. But I couldn't help but wonder if she wasn't suffering from White Knight Syndrome. The whole thing was a little awkward because she seemed all in, and Luke kept running hot and cold.

It's a rare occurrence that I feel like I want to slap the hero upside the head for being stubborn or just clueless. Hot firefighter or not, I wanted to shake some sense into Luke. I'd say he became a little unsympathetic in my eyes for sleeping with her, only to remain a little p*ssed over the reason he dumped her to begin with. If he ever cared about her then and now, he ought to have manned up and demanded some answers. A simple conversation could have avoided a lot of heartache. Then there's the matter of him dropping the L word twice, but either wanting to snatch it back or bargain with her. If a man treated me like that, I'd tell him where he could go.

What I did like were the love/sex scenes. Em Petrova sure knows how to turn up the heat with her words. But I also liked that Josie stood up to Luke, and she put her daughter's welfare before her own heart. The story picked up again towards the end when Luke does some self reflection and owns up to his mistakes. The drama that eventually brings these two together was predictable, but it somehow fit them.

This story was good, but I felt it needed a little bit more to make me really care about the characters. This story may not have given me the tingles and swoon, but I'm still willing to check out the rest of this author's stories. I'd give this a 3-3.5.

This is one hot scorching read from beginning to end. I was on fire from page one.

Luke is a firefighter who is called in when no other one will go. His nickname is Lucifer. So when I house is on fire he is called in to get the people out. That’s when he saves the only woman he ever loved, Josie, and her daughter.

I really liked the way they explode when they see each other again. The past doesn’t matter once they touch. This story will be hotter than any fire you have ever seen. Watch out because you just might get burned.

The author has a way with her characters and she left me wanting more. I was so into this book. I know that I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I believe the author did a great job bringing out the emotions of both characters. It made me stop and think that I should tell the person that mean the world to me that I love them. You never know if that will be the last time that you ever see them.

Thanks for letting me see the first of this series. I really loved the cover and that is what caught my attention at first. I just knew I had to read this book. I wasn’t disappointed. I really recommend this book to everyone who just loves a fireman.
