I enjoyed the book although it was not what I was expecting. Based on the title, I was expecting a story book for adults.

The book is divided into stories, which are separated into chapters based on themes and time period. It offers explanations and recounts many myths from Marblehead. Some mention is also made of Lynn, MA at the beginning of the book. There is a nice selection of illustrations to accompany the stories.

This book got better as it went along. I enjoyed reading the stories of the town where I used to live and being able to picture all of the locations in my mind.
