The Starfire & Blackfire plot was epic! I got a little lost with all of the conflict with other alien parties though.

I didn't know the full mythology of Thanos and the rest of Starlin's slice of the Marvel universe when I first read this, but it was still highly enjoyable as a complete crossover story with a clear beginning, middle and end, and cosmic repercussions that really did matter, which is something you just don't get nowadays.

some of the dated politics/attempts at being "current" aside, this is a fantastic story

A brief review of the entire universe of DC, that puts things into perspective, and gives you a small look at how the universe (literally) came into being, spurring superheroes we know and love, other worlds, and conflicts any DC fan is aware of.

Makes me want to learn more about some superheroes I never heard of before, and that's always a plus.
