Tom Perera

Tom Perera is a professor emeritus at Montclair State University with hundreds of publications in many fields including The History of Technology, Computerized Research Laboratory Software, Multi-Media Laboratory Modules, Psychophysiology, Perception, Experimental Psychology, The Psychology of Flight, etc.

He is also an active Amateur Radio Operator (callsign W1TP, ex K2DCY) since first being licensed in 1953. He is particularly interested in documenting the History of Telegraph Keys since that time. More recently, he has been collecting Enigma Cipher Machines and has created museums of both telegraph keys and Enigma machines. He has specialized in Collecting Telegraph instruments and I focus particular attention on Civil War Era and Pre-Civil War Telegraph keys.
