M.D. Pentacles

M. D. Pentacles' Renegade series is so excellent, so obscene, so filthy, and so addictive.

Renegade and Giaus have been bound as mates and now they are building their pack, but Renegade is going to make sure that it's never easy.

I really am enjoying seeing how all the personal relationships are changing and evolving right now. I like seeing how Renegade is changing now because of Giaus. They have a very fraught relationship. I'm also interested by the relationships going on with the other Alphas and Renegade. I think that there are a couple of very definite episodes of hate sex in this, and I thought that it really worked for the relationship.

I thought that the first one was filthy af. Well, the bar has been raised. MD Pentacles managed to write a book that is even more filthy and even hotter and even more OMG.

Basically, there's only 1 sex scene in the book, and before you wonder how only 1 sex scene turns a book into something filthy af, you need to realize that the whole book is one extended sex scene that turns filthy af into something that's even filthier. But, having said that, it's really not gratuitous. And it still has plot and advances the story, which is pretty awesome.

Renegade is both smart and not-smart. She's not stupid, but right now she's kind of blinded by lust, so while she thinks she's doing the smart thing, it turns out that she's blinded by her body chemistry and her own cleverness. Frankly, she gets what she deserves, and gets it, and gets it, and gets it...

I want to find out more about the Feral. There's going to be a great story in there, and I want to get ahold of it.… (altro)
