Once I found out at the very start from a sample on Kindle that in this book David, her husband is dead I no longer had any interest in reading this series. In book 1 his death and well being was used as a threat for her to comply with her treatment from the baddie so to find he is dead I didn't see the point.

To me they needed their HEA together not with him being happy she's safe or happy he had helped her heal or whatever reason that is going to be given.
The only reason I would have considered reading this is to find out things that I felt were left out of the first book as it ended with her rescue and didn't deal with her healing and her future relationship with David. The whole fight was for their lives together and although it may be more realistic for him to be killed 'staged accident' it is not something I wanted to read about.… (altro)

WOW! This was not what I was expecting but it turned out to be so much more and better. This was a psychological thriller that went from the States to Pakistan. It was really dark at times but well worth the angst because you had to keep reading to find out what was happening. Makes you think how you would react in the same circumstances and also scares the bejezus out of you thinking that it really could happen to you. Ms. Paul is definitely an author to keep an eye on because she certainly knows how to craft a story.
