Dog walker and animal communicator Sheila Thibedeau suddenly finds herself in a relationship with former hedge fund manager Harrison, who bilked millions from his clients for personal gain. After his death in prison and reincarnation as a dog, the person who adopted Harrison from the kennel wants Sheila's help on how to deal with the arthritic old dog. Sheila hasn't had much luck with the men in her life, but the rude and uncooperative dog doesn't stop her from trying. Bored, the dog finally turns to Shelia to relive his glory investor days. Desperate to get ahead, lead Sheila takes his financial advice. She takes out a home equity line of credit and begins to invest in the up and coming hedge fund Harrison recommends. Will the latest scheme leave her homeless or will a shy young loan officer step in to stop her from going to the dogs?
