There are a couple great strategy moments, but a lot of the season goes by without anything happening. There are only two or three contestants to root for, and all but one of them is out of the game by the halfway point.

A reality game on a desert island.

It's weird watching this for the first time, after watching most of the later seasons. It's a revelation as they figure out that it's a game and not just The Real World on a desert island. It's not a good show yet at this point, but there's enough historical interest to make it worth watching.
