NCLA Review - “Just keep loving them” is a sentiment that echoes in this honest portrayal of one family’s journey through their son battle with teen depression. The father, a pastoral counselor, offers hope as well as practical advice on recognizing depression and how to get appropriate professional help for both parents and teens. In telling his son’s story he describes the variety of creative and sometimes risky means they used to help him. Some of these worked and others did not; but the author emphasizes that there is no “quick fix” that fits all depressed teens. This easily read book is an excellent resource for parents, teachers, pastors and counselors. Rating: 4—AL… (altro)
