This is a great rhyming book that shows kids what you can do with shapes: staking, rolling, slanting and so on. I would like to use this book in class to start a geometry lesson.

Wendy Troll has to go on an overnight camp-out in the woods with her little brothers. But Wendy is scared to go without a grown-up along. "There are all sorts of spooky things in the dark!" she says. But are there?

Two Crazy Pigs is a silly story about two pigs that are kicked off the Fenster's farm for playing around a little too much, but luckliy they find the Henhawk's where all their crazy play is welcomed! Children age 4-8 will get a kick out the story as the pigs continuosly get in trouble for there silly antics. I think it can be used as a great teaching tool to be excepting of our differences. Included on the last page is a speed drill & recognition drill that can help towards the readers fluency.

The story is about two farm pigs who are eventually sent away from their farm because of their prankish activities. They are then "adopted" by another farmer and his wife who enjoy their antics.

The students love this book. It is a laugh out loud read.

Shapes That Roll is a brightly illustrated book that effectively and playfully explores the properties of shapes. The written text is setin rhyming couplets which will appeal to younger children. The images have a textural effect used with some of the inks, making the pages more touchable.

It was a pretty fun read, though I couldn't grasp the moral of the story. Still, the illustrations were awesome.
