Yeah, it's true. I own a FORTRAN book. I even took an actual college class in FORTRAN (it was an easy A, to keep the GPA up, and satisfied a requirement). I keep this book as a reference, just in case I run into FORTRAN. I've used it twice to write code to directly interpret FORTRAN (one in LISP, one in C++) so as not to have to rewrite hundreds and hundreds of lines of code.

It's a decent book, although FORTRAN moved on, long ago, from FORTRAN IV.
