i really like that she ends this book with a pretty large section that is about what to do about it. not just telling us the problem, but trying to help solve it. honestly they aren't steps i would take, but i really appreciate that she's not just laying out the issue, but actively working to make it better as well.
it's also nice that there has been some shift in accountability, i think largely because of #metoo. some of what she talked about in this book has seen some improvement, for sure, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
she mentions this in passing a couple of times, but i wish it was front and center the way her gender discrimination work is - this book speaks mostly to white women. i really wish she had more clearly and forcefully spoke to racism and how women of color are at further disadvantage than the white women she talks about.½
