This is a great picture book for toddlers. The illustrations are simple and not cluttered, yet demonstrate what is happening in the text. The text is large and very easy to read. Annabel is a little girl with a big imagination. She imagines that she is something different each day. All the things she picks are great things for someone to do when they get older such as a doctor, astronaut, artist, musician and even a superhero and princess thrown in for good measure. A cute story for kids. A great addition to a kindergarten classroom or a family library. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via netgalley.

This is a simple, sweet book about a young girl and her cat. They do all sorts of things together throughout the year. The English text is paired with Spanish on each page. The illustrations are also simple, colourful and engaging for little ones. A great book for an ESL classroom or children trying to learn Spanish. Simple text will also be good for young readers who are learning to read. My grandchildren enjoyed the simple story and started telling me things they did with their cat. A good conversation starter. The publisher, Xist, generously provided me with a copy of this book.

Annabel is a cute girl whose cat is her best friend. This book tells about all the fun things they do together throughout the year and the seasons. They do things that most young children will be able to identify with. This is a great picture book for toddlers. The illustrations are simple and not cluttered, yet demonstrate what is happening in the text. The text is large and very easy to read. A cute book for pre-school and kindergarten classrooms. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.

This was fun. The standard tongue twisters like Sally by the seashore and Peter Piker are there, but so are some new ones to this read. Still, unless I am going really slowly I can not say The Queen in Green Screamed. It doesn’t seem like it should be that hard. The illustrations are nice and using twister that don’t show up everywhere else was a nice added surprise.
