Steven Ray Morris

I only discovered this book of essays existed yesterday and immediately purchased it and started reading. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect though I was aware that I enjoy Steven's writing style from an online piece of his I've read.

This didn't disappoint.

I'm not entirely familiar with the franchise side of Jurassic Park, in fact I can't remember any film other than the original. These essays managed to bring the world of Jurassic Park to life for me. There were times when I felt as though I was reading about real people in our very own world.

Each essay is best read with a small break afterwards, to think on the questions and ideas that Steven poses to his reader. He delves into both ideas of ethics as well as looking at the franchise objectively.

I hope there will be another installment now that we have new films coming out but if not, I'm happy to have enjoyed this inside look into the world of animatronic dinosaurs.… (altro)
