The author is the originator of goat packing. He used horses and mules for years and found they had limitations in rough country. If you are interested in pack animals of any kind, this book may convince you of the superiority of goats. Every aspect is covered. I would not have known that certain breeds are better than others, and some are very unsuitable. I am a donkey enthusiast, but Mr. Mioncznyski has converted me, and I plan to find some Oberhasli goats this spring.
