This book has the distinction of being the first book I bought because of TikTok. It's not bad. A lot of the ideas and ways of looking at money are things that I've done for years, however I do acknowledge they are not the norm. The author trys really REALLY hard to be funny, which got on my nervs at times, but over all it wasn't a bad book and I did get a few new ideas.
While there is some useful information in this book, all the jokey stuff and endless self promotion and sidebars were painful. I gave it 3 stars for the useful parts.
This is the second book I have read that Mike Michalowicz has written. The first book was Profit First. I have become a huge fan of his writing and ideas. As part of the Modern Mrs. Darcy Read Challenge, I plan to read the rest of his books this year. Sometimes, you have to take a deep dive into an author’s work.
This book, Clockwork: Design Your Business to Run Itself, focuses on the systems and processes necessary to get maximum performance out of a company. It is about identifying the right things to do in your business and optimizing around them. Read more… (altro)

Run, don’t walk to pick up your copy of Profit First: A Simple System to Transform Any Business from a Cash-Eating Monster to a Money-Making Machine! If you are like me, you may struggle with your finances both in your business and personally. I finally found a strategy that makes a lot of sense to me.
