David McKay, along with his wife Ally, own McKay Photography Academy, a very successful Photography Travel tour and photographic educational company in El Dorado Hills, CA.

Having presented and taught thousands of people in both professional and amateur photography organizations around the world, he has a passion for teaching, and has a heart to inspire all those he meets and instructs. David truly believes that EVERYONE should be able to enjoy photography, travel, friendship and adventure. The McKay motto!

David has been internationally recognized and awarded with some of the most prestigious accolades in his profession. Included are: Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsmen, and Certified Professional from Professional Photographers of America, the leading professional photography organization in the world. David has been awardee numerous "Loan Collection" images and had his work featured around the world.

David has written and been featured in such esteemed Photography magazines as:
Professional Photographers of America, Bokeh, Extraordinary Vision, Digital Photography School, Apogee Magazine, and more.

David and Ally lead photography tours all over the world including locations such as Iceland, Tanzania, Italy, Greece, Ireland, New Zealand and more. Not to be missed, the McKay's' also lead several domestic tours each year to locations such as Alaska, Yosemite, Moab and Yellowstone.
