I liked it

I love anthologies because there are so many new authors that you can discovered all at once. This anthology had one of my favorite authors Charlene Hartnady which was the main reason I chose to read it. But there are also many entertaining short stories by some very good authors. I enjoyed most of the novellas with an exception of a few which were just too raunchy for my taste but most of them have interesting characters and story lines. Of all the shorts, for me the most enjoyable reads were:

This was the first book that I read by this author. I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to reading more of her books!

It is a good thing this was a novella, or I would have put it down out of sheer frustration. All this angst and misunderstandings because she wanted to get married.

Desert Moon – 4.5 Stars

ALowe is an awesome writer. I was pulled into the characters, plot, and world from the first to the last page. I could not put Desert Moon down. The emotions are so real and the world is unique. I also like how the shifters are portrayed. We are also given a great conflict on more then one front with the feud and rouges. Ty and Lana are a perfect couple. They complemented each other and when they connected the sex was passionate and sensual. Desert Moon was fantastic, the storyline was gripping, and the characters are captivating. I am riveted and blown away.

This is one author and series I highly recommend picking up, especially if you love werwolves and cowboys.

The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series has fast become one of my favorites to read. I'm always looking forward to a new installment into this world to indulge my fix. I highly recommend pick up the series.

This short, Hot Blooded Desert Nights, gives us a sweet taste of Cody and Heather during a moment in their novel Desert Blood.

I loved Cody and Heather in [b:Desert Blood|25209190|Desert Blood (The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch, #2)|Anna Lowe|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1442839124s/25209190.jpg|44582129] and seeing a little moment inside the story was delightful. The author always does an amazing job with her writing and giving you both characters POV’s. The sensual moment is well written, steamy, and hot.

Hot Blooded Desert Nights is a sweet little edition into a magical world of sexy cowboy wolf shifters and the women who capture their hearts.

I liked most everything about this book. Except the dominance aspect of the anal sex. Its a bit unrealistic as well for there to be so little discomfort.

Only if you like spanking and pain (biting not just nipping) and descriptions that include stinging burning pain. Also includes some bondage.

Not for me.

Still dominance/submission themes. Some pain but not as bad as the first of the series. LIke most this length transitions are abrupt.

Another one with pain and dominance. Biting of nipples until they bleed... how come this isn't listed with a warning? I have no beef with those that like that kind of thing, but personally I think its gross and would appreciate a warning. It makes me not want to read anything more of this author ever. Especially when he asks her if he hurt her and she says NO. WTF? Are we a doormat waiting to happen or what?

I am so done with that. If there were a way to give a '0' I would.

Fun light read. Not too much angst!

I liked all but the last two - the second to last had spanking and pain which was not noted in the description, and the last one while a nice story had too much sadness in the story itself and the premise. Not enough sexual tension and consummation, just tension and sadness.

Overall a good collection.

Well, the book was a little bit boring, both the storyline and the characters.

I really liked the first 2 books in this series, but this one was kind of disappointing! I didn't really like Daphne for some reason.
