Foi este primeiro parágrafo que me prendeu a este livro assim que lhe pus a vista em cima na estante da livraria onde o acabaria por comprar. Uma colectânea de textos humorísticos, tendo sempre como pano de fundo a ciência e a sua relação com as pessoas que a exercem. Este livro nasceu do projecto “Cientistas de Pé”, parte de um projecto ainda mais ambicioso, “Cientistas ao Palco”. Os “Cientistas de Pé” construíram então espectáculo de humor tendo como base temas científicos. Este livro acaba por ser um “spin off” destes espectáculos, permitindo que os textos cheguem, assim, a um público mais alargado.
Textos inteligentes, bem elaborados e recheados de humor que vale bem a pena ler.

It was this first paragraph that got my attention into this book as soon as I laid eyes on it on the shelf of the bookstore where I bought it. A collection of humorous texts, having science as background and its relationship with the people who live for it. This book was born from the project "Stand up Scientists", part of an even more ambitious project, "Scientists at Stage." " Stand up Scientists " prepared a comedy show based on scientific themes. This book turns out to be a "spin off" of these shows, allowing the texts come thus to a wider audience.
Clever, well-written texts, filled with humor that is well worth reading.
