The Kingdom of Sicily, 1100-1250: A Literary… di Karla Mallette
A collection of poems and documents translated from Arabic, Latin, Italian and French. I enjoyed the translations (for literature really is history!), especially the Arabic work originally written by Ibn Jubayr about his travels. Jubayr describes William I and his court in detail. It was nice to finally read this as I've had it my shelf since 2005! 224 pages
