Francis L. Macrina

Francis L. Macrina, Ph.D., is the Edward Myers Professor of Dentistry and Vice President for Research at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where his research in bacteria pathogenesis was supported by the National Institutes of Health for 33 years. He has served on editorial boards of several mostra altro peer-reviewed journals and was editor-in-chief of Plasmid. He has served on NIH study sections, chaired the Board of Scientific Counselors for the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, and was a member of that institute's National Advisory Council Dr. Macrina has been teaching scientific integrity to graduate and postgraduate trainees at VCU for more than 25 years. mostra meno
