This was my favorite book ever as a child. I even found a doll that looked like her and named her Millicent :)

Milicent is having a bad day and is being mean to everyone. My major objection to this book is its dated-ness. At one point she threatens to string someone from the highest tree, complete with an illustration of hanging a noose in a tree. I think at this point we should retire books with lynching references. That is not something I want my class of three year olds mimicking.
