Definitely a different take on the Creation stories. Interesting and fast-moving. I thought Eve was amusing as she worked her way through the stages of reincarnation. Also liked the mix of different religious views.

This book was good but a really slow read. I struggled to continue in places and almost DNF’d it. Over all though I liked it it’s was an interesting twist on the Adam and Eve story and in some places Eve was an absolute bad ass!

An interesting take on the Adam and Eve story; this time from Eve's perspective. It doesn't reach the full level of what it could but does present some intriguing ideas and alternate viewpoints. She may have duped Adam but Satan had duped her in an even bigger way. Could be an interesting start of a series.

While I enjoyed the premise of this story, the execution wasn't quite what I had hoped for. There are a host of intriguing and morally grey characters, however we were often "told" what was happening rather than "shown". I received this advanced copy in exchange for a review, and I think that an ARC it has quite a bit of potential, but needs to be refined quite a bit.

This book was a bit dry and academic, however, it introduces a more personalized approach to reaching your goals and identifying why you have failed to succeed with past self-help books. Psychology trends are discussed regarding fixed mindsets and how they can lead to failure rather than success when trying to move forward and excel in life goals.

By analyzing and personalizing with the help of the work sheets, I believe, the reader is more likely to reach their goals than using the self-help books of the past.

Unbelievable Me: 5 Steps to a Mindset for Success (Second Edition) by David Lowell

I received a free copy in return for an honest review.

Unbelievable Me is an interesting read. Lots of scientific research and history on how the mind works. It is a bit dry but don't worry - if it's too technical there are little summaries to help you process the info in each chapter. The second half of the book is basically a workbook to help you put into practice some of these ideas in your own life. The Kindle was probably not the ideal place to work on the workbook portion, but a piece of paper and a pencil served me just as well.

If you are interested in how the mind works or in changing your mindset to help you succeed in life, you might give this book a try.

I was really pleased to be asked by Librarything.com to review this book.

First of all you need and want to read this book and be in the mindset or zone.

A really useful guide and tells you how you can actually change your mindset, in a stressful world where your mindset is at whatever is going on at the time. The good aspect is this is research based and it is self discovery no one will wave a magic wand it is up to the reader with help from this guide to do it.

I personally found this a valuable and helpful book.½

Alright, the review that I wrote a couple of minutes ago just got deleted...but oh well. I'll just re-write the review again. First of all, thank you for sending this book to me! I liked it, however there were some things that were a bit off. One of them was regarding the cover illustration of the book. It is a bit dull and uninteresting. I would strongly recommend that it be changed. In addition to that, maybe use a different colour for the background. Also, something about the large font of some of the pages striked me as strange...maybe it is because it seemed to sort of "pop out". Also, on some of the pages, I did not like the format, when there are walls of large text. However, I do love that illustrations and fill-in charts are included to make the reading of the book more interactive for the reader. I suggest that more illustrations are included in the book. (The inclusion of Maslow's pyramid is a great addition.) This is a book that I would read in my spare time. Another thing I love about this book, is that I can flip to any random page, and be able to understand and take interest in the writing, even when previous pages were not read. Overall, this book is interesting as well as informative, and readers could learn a lot from it!

On the back cover it says: "You've Got What it Takes to be Great!", and this book shows it. It's a great read if you want to maximize the positive in yourself. A must-have for anyone that wants true success in their life.
