Not sure what genre this would be called. But was a different sort of read.
Presented in diary form, but not in order.
A young woman struggles through her beliefs as she seeks to save a building that represented her life and values.
Enough suspects not to guess at the culprit. Enough clues to try to guess. The mystery kept me reading.
Although constantly reminded that she didn't have much time to save the building, actual time markers would have been helpful. (He gave dated journal entries, but I must have missed how much total time before the building would be destroyed, so I lost track of how much remaining time she had...and I don't like doing the math, especially when he jumped back and forth in time.)
