This book is not for everyone. The detailing Charles Logan puts into this book is phenomenal, but it is very graphic. It brings awareness to topics that most people avoid or get wrong. I love that it shows just exactly what exotic dancers, prostitutes, and drug addicts/dealers truly go through. I feel as if the media typically sugarcoats things, but this book doesn't. You can tell that he put a lot of time and effort into this book, which I appreciate. The book is told through several different people's points of view, mainly focusing on Jack. I love books with alternating points of view, and I think this one does a nice job of incorporating it; it's not at all confusing, where most books are. As I said, it's a very graphically detailed book, so I would definitely take caution if it seems like something you'd want to read.… (altro)
