Very interesting since we have visited some of the areas/locations mentioned in the book, also enlightening about this part of American West history of the "rainbow chasers," the prospectors and the miners, and the lost fortunes of those who invested and lost. The mountains in the west have been combed much more closely for treasure than I had ever imagined. I appreciated the detail and the statistics.
