I absolutely loved this book. Such a fabulous read about a precocious young girl after the dreary book of two ago.
Shed one series of tears at the end of her liberation from the overpowering personalities of her parents. The parade of nannies was sad, funny and entertaining. I will search for the 2nd installment of this unique childs history.

Despite the title, it's not a mystery novel -- because it's a pretty well done novel-in-stories of growing up as the not-exactly-adored only child of B-list celebrity narcissists in 1950s Beverly Hills. Slightly angsty, slightly funny, slightly fluffy. A good quick read for a day at the beach.

Fleur is now 15, it's the early 60s and Fleur's parents have sent her to a 'boarding' school in Tucson. The 'boarding' school turns out to be a place where the 'sickly' go -- when AZ used to be the place to go when you had health issues. Again, it's a clever story and a quick read.

Cute. Fleur is the 11 year old girl of a crazy Hollywood mom and producer father. Set at the end of the 50s, it's about Fleur's desire to find where she fits into this world.
