I think Janet Leigh should have stuck to acting and left writing for the people who have that talent. It wasn't that this was bad, it just wasn't great. The writing at times was sophomoric and the plot was predictable. Even the surprise ending was telegraphed much earlier.

Having said that this book does give a glimpse inside Hollywood that only an insider could provide. And it also gives me the feeling that Janet Leigh must have been one hot mama in her time. She certainly didn't pull any punches on the sex scenes.

Since Janet died a few years after writing this book I guess there won't be any others. It would have been interesting to see if her writing improved with time.
