The author is definitely a fan of Sabu and he did contact many people who had worked with the actor to get their thoughts which is an important addition to any biography. I also liked that when he discussed actors, directors, and others who worked with Sabu, he put their birth and death years next to their name. The book has a good bibliography but no footnotes. The filmography is also complete. I would have liked to have known what happened to Sabu's wife and children. The photographs in the book were too small to be of any good as you really could not distinguish the people in them.
