As a first novel, I think it's pretty good. Learning the whole thing took as much as the writing, so, you know. And things were complicated on a personal level when I wrote it, so I rushed a little. But still, I think anyone who grew up in the 80's, in the Midwest, with really crappy parents, might get a kick out of it.
