Not bad. Think I'll wait til the author releases all the serials at once in one book next month before I read the rest, but I can see myself getting into this.
Really enjoying this series and I might check out the others after I finish part 5. However I'm unable to access the main menu on my Kindle Paperwhite while reading them (not a problem with the other books I have on it) and I have to reboot my device to get back there. To the author, is this some setting you have put in to prevent main menu access?
I'd say my only issue with this is the way the main character (Ashlyn) talks about how she's been taking care of her "little brothers." You would think she is referring to little boys (or at the most, teenagers), rather than young men in their 20's (not much younger than her) who apparently are unable to take care of themselves. It's a bit disconcerting. But otherwise, I did enjoy it.

It has some good moments, but mostly it is highly repetitive.
