A two-act duet, centered on the beginning and ending of an affair between two theoretically redheaded women.

Saw this on Broadway, probably around 1992; chanced across a remaindered copy in 11/06 and took the opportunity to reread it.

The "death" of the title refers to how each of us experience the death of (many) others over the course of our lives.

Clever without being glib, feeling without being maudlin. I'm not sure how deeply the feelings go, it's probably very much of its time in the very dry writing; I'd have to see it in the theatre again to be sure.… (altro)
