I am biased as I love Gladys but I think this is a superb autobiography. A cherished book - not quite as cherished as her marvellously soulful recordings though!
Gladys Knight was a child prodigy who began singing at the age of four. She shares with the reader her journey with the Pips, time spent on the chitlin' circuit, the years at Motown, her gambling addiction, love and loss. A discography of all her recorded music is also included.
