This book is stuffed full of basic protocol and/or techniques for what seems like basically every basic technique you might encounter in an analytical chemistry lab. It also describes various principles, mathematics, and other concepts you might come across in relatively uncomplicated language. It also includes practice problems, which is excellent. There are also sections that would make your overall technique better, such as proper weighing or how to use various volumetric glassware.
