I would recommend this (along with the entire series) to elementary and middle schoolers. The pictures alone receive my highest reviews and grab the interest of adult readers as well. The books also receive my highest marks in that they tell of rescue organizations, charitable groups, warning systems in addition to the facts of devastation. I also like the way the scientific facts of the natural disasters are presented. The author uses vivid illustrations and graphs along with quite a bit of technical information to educate students.… (altro)
