I received this book in a LibraryThing Giveaway. I had concerns from the beginning about a collection consisting of two short stories and a Novella... and those concerns turned out to be valid. I enjoyed Kate's writing, and I think she has some intriguing and creative ideas... but at least for me, this combination/conglomeration was odd, and detracted from the stories. I think it would have been more successful to have the novella.. and then separately, the two shorts (and more!)
