This book is about George and his friends Peachy and Moon. His friends both have their "things", like body building and weightlifting, but those are not George's thing.

I think this one is super cute and a great way to show kids that they don't need to hide who they are or try to be something they are not! The characters and illustrations are perfect!

summary: George likes to dance, but he only does in private until he is asked to dance in a show.
reflection: This made me think about things that we all do when we are alone compared to things that we do when we're around people or in public. I love that it tells the story of being yourself and doing your own thing because it comes down to being happy with yourself and how you are, not caring so much about other people and what they do/like.

This book is about animals being afraid of the "monster of the woods" then realizing there was nothing to be afraid of once they face their fears. This is a great book for working on miscues such as expression and punctuation, as there is a lot of both in this book.

A mommy cow has lost her calf. She searches for him until she finds him fast asleep at his bed time. This book is appropriate for pre-k children.
The connection I had was I remember wondering away from my mother in a store. She searched and searched the store unitl she found me.
